About Us & The Role

I’m Quang – a former Googler turned entrepreneur. I now run Overseas Vietnamese (OV), a global community for Vietnamese professionals & entrepreneurs.

I’m looking for someone reliable to help me stay organized and keep things moving. You don’t need to be perfect – just sharp, curious and good with people. If you care about doing great work and learning fast, this could be the start of something special.

You’ll work closely with me on day-to-day operations, events, content, and more. You’ll get a front-row seat to how I build OV – and meet some of the most inspiring Vietnamese professionals around the world.

We start small. You prove you can handle complexity. I teach you everything I know. You take on more responsibility. We build something neither of us could build alone.

Flexible hours. Mix of remote and in-person. Regular 1:1s. Direct feedback loop. More autonomy as you earn it.

What You’ll Do

• Manage my calendar, inbox, reminders, and follow-ups

• Help plan and run OV events and meetups (in HCMC & online)

• Coordinate with podcast guests, speakers and collaborators

• Capture and share social content (photos/videos/stories)

• Maintain our CRM, liaise with team, members, partners and vendors

• Be proactive – spot what’s needed, move things forward & make things happen

How We’ll Work Together

• Workload will vary depending on projects & events (things will change frequently & fast)

• We’ll have regular check-ins via call & ongoing chats async

• You’ll join me on-site in HCMC for key events, recordings & content days

• We’ll work closely & communicate frequently

• You’ll also work with my Chief of Staff & Community Manager – both are exceptional

• Native Vietnamese + excellent English

• Highly organized, proactive, dependable

• Calm under pressure, fast on execution, detail-obsessed

• Smart, professional & good with people

• Tech and social media-savvy, quick to learn new tools

• Strong common sense and a willingness to figure things out

• Eager to grow & take on more – you don’t need to know everything now

Students and recent grads welcome. No full-time experience required.
